Wide Eyes Technologies will represent Spain in the Eurovision of Startups #SEUA17
Wide Eyes Technologies, BCN-based startup that provides AI solutions to global fashion retailers, has been recognised by StartUp Europe as best fashion startup of Spain in 2017. As recognition, Wide Eyes Technologies will have the chance to represent Spain in the Startup Europe Awards 2017, the Eurovision of Startups, and compete for the European leadership in fashion category.

Wide Eyes Technologies’ software creates a visual search engine for fashion retailers, allowing customers to upload a photo of a piece of clothing and find similar items in online or brick stores. This AI solutions provide speed and simplicity to the shopping experience, giving consumers instant gratification in one click.

StartUp Europe Awards is promoted by the European Commission and supported by the President of the Committee of the Regions, several members of the European Parliament as Ambassador and it is implemented by Finnova Foundation in collaboration with StartUp Europe.

2017, a successful year:
This year has been a year of wins and awards. The Wide Eyes Technologies’ AI solutions, based on image recognition and deep learning, won the best technology solution in the fashion industry at the Fashion Startup Awards 2017. And also, our last fashion discovery research work won the Best Paper Award of the Computer Vision of Fashion Workshop at ICCV 2017, the top event worldwide reference on Computer Vision.
